Thompson Impresses with Strong Performance at Senior Bowl
The Kansas City Chiefs selected Stephen F. Austin defensive end B.J. Thompson with the 166th overall pick in the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.
Thompson, who stands at 6'4" and weighs 285 pounds, is expected to provide depth to the Chiefs' defensive line. He recorded 10.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks in his final season at Stephen F. Austin, and also impressed scouts with his performance at the Senior Bowl.
